At the time of King George III's coronation in 1760 the British were the preeminent power on the North American sub-continent. The colonists, however, were unhappy. "No taxation without representation!" they protested to their English brothers and sisters across the Atlantic. Sculptors and artists have taken some of the principle characters of the era to create this superb chess set.
